On behalf of the members of the New Mexico State Organization Daughters of the American Revolution (NMSODAR), welcome to our official website.
The NMSODAR is a non-profit, non-political women’s service organization composed of 743 members who are full of energy and enthusiasm and organized into 16 chapters located throughout the state.
The Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) is the nation’s oldest women’s service organization. Membership is open to women who are lineally descended from someone who served in the military during the American Revolution or supported our country’s efforts to secure independence. Nationally our membership is over 190,000.
We are dedicated to promoting the three principle tenets of the National Society: Historic Preservation, Education and Patriotism. Our members serve their communities, our state and the country in various capacities through our national committee system.
Are you 18 years or older? Is there a Revolutionary War patriot in your family tree? Membership in the Daughters of the American Revolution honors and preserves the legacy of your patriot ancestor who served the cause of American independence.
